Jonathan loves learning how the world works, and has found investing the best way to do so. Since joining YSIG, he has been in the Industrials, Natural Resources, and Small Cap groups. Last year, he served as group head for Industrials. Jonathan is always happy to chat about YSIG, investing (especially in boring businesses), and his plans to visit all 63 National Parks (he’s only been to four).
Daisy Garcia

Daisy is a senior in Pauli Murray and a part of the Investment Committee this year. She joined YSIG in the fall of her sophomore year to meet new people and learn about the finance industry and investing. Last year, she was the Consumers group head, and previously she was a member of the Media and Telecoms group. Outside of YSIG, she works as a research assistant at SOM, she was a Harvest Leader, and she loves to watercolor paint and read. Ellie Jiang

Ellie joined YSIG to meet new people and learn how to make strategic investment decisions. Last year, she led the Macro group and has been a part of the Macro, Small Cap, Consumers, and Natural Resources subgroups. Outside of finance, Ellie is a member of the Yale Fed Challenge Team and enjoys crocheting, playing violin, skating at Ingalls Rink, and watching really bad reality TV. Yvonne Lonergan Head of External Affairs

Yvonne is a sophomore in Branford who joined YSIG in the fall of her freshman year to explore the world of investing. This year, she is excited to serve as Head of External Affairs. With a French mother and British father, Yvonne brings an international perspective shaped by schooling in both the UK and US. Outside of YSIG, Yvonne loves tennis/golf, workout classes, food, skiing and cheering on the NY Rangers. Dylan joined YSIG to learn more about investing and meet new people. He's thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the YSIG community and is excited to serve as Head of Internal Affairs this year. Last year, he was part of the Industrials team and developed an interest in battery companies. Outside of YSIG, Dylan loves everything from watching Hamilton to playing poker. Daniel Heynold

Daniel joined YSIG in his freshman year to gain more insight into investing and portfolio management. Before beginning his role as a senior advisor, Daniel was the Head of Media and Telecoms investing. He is co-founder of the Yale Padel Club, a sport he has become passionate about. Max joined YSIG to strengthen his skills in fundamental analysis and investing. Before beginning his role as a senior advisor, Max was the Head of Small Cap and Special Situations investing, and he previously spent time covering Natural Resources. Outside of YSIG, he enjoys playing pickleball, running Yale’s Bonsai Club, and competing with the Lightweight Rowing Team.
