Why Join YSIG?
Education
YSIG provides an unparalleled learning opportunity for undergraduates interested in investing. Through our Analyst Training Program (ATP), students are provided with a comprehensive training in finance concepts and valuation. ATP runs for a full semester with weekly lectures led by a senior member of YSIG and culminates in a capstone investment pitch. After a year in YSIG, members become more proficient in a variety of skills including: formulating investment theses, researching publicly traded companies, constructing valuation models, and presenting an investment pitch.
Hands-On Experience
YSIG prides itself on offering students the opportunity to invest in the public markets. Our members learn by doing, assuming meaningful responsibility with real money behind their ideas.
Recruiting
YSIG is the only investment group on campus that manages a portfolio. Consequently, several reputable firms recruit directly from our organization, and our members consistently place at some of the largest and most successful firms in finance for both internships and full-time positions. YSIG members also have access to exclusive speaker events and networking, and can connect with alumni through our proprietary database.
